I love this teaching, it speaks to my heart. It encourages me to keep pressing on to the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
It is the opposite of " the prosperity gospel " which teaches that we can get gold----money, houses, cars, ----- but to go through the fire of holiness means that we we will come forth as gold, a totally different outcome. Bless you, Brother.

Thanks for the message. Truly the stains of this world and my own life keep me from being set apart unto YHWH. But by His "grace and mercy" He is teaching me to obey Him and be set apart only to Him. May YHWH bless you and keep you.
p.s. Thank you for your correspondence with my son Justice. It blesses me to see him wear the Tzit Tzit you sent him. Shalom, Chris

Excellent article. We often pray that God take away the fire or try to put it out ourselves, but it is only by going through it that we are refined.

I would also point out that the fire does not remove the "bad gold" from the "good gold"- it removes the dross from all the gold. Some people I have meet seem to think that refining is where God takes a more and more elite cut of humanity, but this is not His process. He takes all of us- particularly those who are broken and hurting, and refines us until we come forth as the gold were were created to be.
